Netball Online had its origins way back in 2002 on another website called sportline.

Originally Sportline was a website created for New Zealands women athletes. A place where people could find out the latest news and scores of our NZ representative teams. With netball growing in popularity over the years and with the lack of netball forums, the question was asked of management and Sportline responded by creating a netball specific forum. Membership slowly grew with members not only from NZ but also from Australia and as far away as America and the UK.

Although no complaints were made and with many members from foreign soils, it was decided to give Sportline a more international feel. The domain name Sportzonline.com was purchased and the website was transferred. Within a year of the transfer it soon became apparent that not only was netballs popularity growing but so was the forum. Questions were asked of the membership and the decision was made to give the netball forum its own home. Netball Online was created in April 2005.

We have slowly added to the website as time has gone on. Player profiles, a gallery, articles (some of those written by our own forum members) and the latest netball news from around the world.
